Extra Credit Opportunities: HONORS

I do not curve quizzes and tests; however there are many opportunities for you to earn extra points to supplement your grade that you earn in my class.

Each nine weeks

· Most quizzes & test will have review extra credit questions at the end – points will be added to that assessment.

· Lab Manager position/Assignment Manager position- 3 -week period of time

· Each nine weeks usually will have an activity to earn some points

· CHEM HONORS ONLY: Chapter test practice from Glencoe’s website is completed until all questions have been answered correctly (100%)! Bookmark website below and select the chapter we are studying to find the practice test. Your answers are sent to me via email at least 2 days prior to the test. No emails sent the day before the test will be accepted: http://glencoe.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/007874637x/student_view0/

· At Home Labs: If a parent helps with the lab and writes a summary paragraph- points earned for that lab.
