English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is a course for students whose first language is any language other than English. AHS has a large population of ESOL students, representing many countries from around the world. Apopka's students alone represent Mexico, Vietnam, Guatemala, Ecuador, Argentina, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, China, Ukraine, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Korea, Brazil, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.
